January 8th
Tuesday morning it was back to work and I spent the day at the office analyzing the data we had collected. Prognosis: Negative. The GPS handheld units were found to be too inaccurate as far as elevation to make an accurate mapping of the catchment area behind the check dam called Johad Wala. We spent 10 hours in the office and some of the other members of our team made some progress at least. We walked back to the hotel in the dark and then a few of us celebrated late because Teresa had found out that day that she got a job with Teach for America!
