January 14th
Back to work on Monday and we spent the day finishing up compiling all of our data we had collected in a coherent manner so we could pass it off to the group who comes next year and picks up where we leave off. We left the office before dark and were really glad to learn that Steve had finally gotten discharged from hospital earlier in the day, and it was his birthday! He was even able to join us as we headed to a big mall to eat at TGI Friday’s. It was kind of expensive (a half rack of imported ribs was over US $20 – had to pass on those) but luckily I found a tasty meal for a modest price. After returning to the hotel, I joined the rest of the crew for some cards before bed.
