- Claire has passed her Comprehensive Exam and is now officially a PhD Candidate. HUGE congratulations!
- Erica and Monica both passed their PhD prelim exams!
- Monica was awarded a NSF GRFP Honorable Mention. HUGE Honor!

- Rebecca Klaper presented our work at the International Emerging Contaminants Conference in Oslo, Norway in June.
- Greg was selected as an invited participant at the National Academy of Engineering Frontiers of Engineering workshop in Tsukuba, Japan.
- Greg was hosted as a visiting scholar at the BioEconomy Science Center at RWTH Aachen University in Germany in June/July. He learned a ton, developed new collaborations, and gave several talks there and University of Bonn.
- Greg is the PI on a newly awarded NSF unsolicited environmental engineering CBET grant on neonicotinoids with David Cwiertny (co-PI). “Neonicotinoid Fate across the Source Water to Drinking Water Continuum: Transformation Reactions at the Pesticide Pharmacophore to Yield Products of Enhanced Mammalian Toxicity”
- Sarah Douglas, MS student, co-advised with Corey Markfort will join the lab in fall!
