IIHR provides unique opportunities for undergraduates to participate in education and research programs. These include:

• Kennedy Fellowship, carrying a $2,500 stipend, is awarded annually to a University of Iowa senior who exemplifies the diverse qualities and aptitude for success in advanced degree work in an area of the hydrosciences.

• IIHR also employs a number of undergraduate students to assist with research projects during the academic year and summers.
