RSVP Now for the IIHR Centennial!
We hope you will be able to join the IIHR Centennial Reunion Activities for Alumni and Friends in Iowa City, Iowa, starting with a special event Wednesday evening, August 12, 5–7 pm, at the Old Capitol Museum, where IIHR’s exhibit (A River Flowed Through It: Iowa’s Legacy in Fluid Mechanics) will be on display.
Reunion activities and tours on August 13–14 are designed especially for IIHR alumni and friends and will give participants the opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow alumni, friends, current students, staff, and faculty on the beautiful University of Iowa campus.
Two specific reunion activities are already scheduled:
- IIHR Old Capitol Museum Exhibit Event (A River Flowed Through It: Iowa’s Legacy in Fluid Mechanics) facilitated by IIHR staff — Wednesday, August 12, 5–7 pm
- Gala Birthday Party at Hancher (formal ticketed event) — Evening of Thursday, August 13
We need your input now on your planned attendance and your preferences for other proposed activities on Thursday and Friday.
Please provide your input and RSVP information below to let us know if you plan to attend, which event(s) and/or tours you are interested in, and how many guests you plan to bring. We will schedule the activities that generate the most interest. We cannot guarantee that the choices you make will be offered during this event.
Reunion activities will lead into the exciting community-wide event, The Big Splash! (August 14–16).
